3- Replace Mandeep Singh with Sarfaraz Khan/Yash Dhull

Mandeep Singh’s selection over Sarafraz Khan and Yash Dhull has raised eyebrows. Given the number three position, Mandeep has failed miserably in the two games. His scores have been 0 and 18. One could argue he will bring the necessary experience needed for that position, but sadly he has failed to deliver.

Once Mitchell Marsh returns, he might be slotted at that position. But as per reports, his return is uncertain. To avoid another failure, the Capitals should replace Mandeep with either Sarfaraz Khan or Yash Dhull. Both the youngsters have been in tremendous form in the recently concluded first leg of the Ranji Trophy.

Sarfaraz Khan has batted for Punjab at the number four in the past seasons. He has the required experience and can be an ideal replacement. On the other hand, Yash Dhull has been on a scoring spree as well. After a phenomenal U19 World Cup, the Delhi batter also went on to amass 479 runs in six innings at an astonishing average of 119.75.
