2. Dinesh Karthik
Dinesh Karthik is one of the most experienced wicket-keeper batters who has been playing the sport since 2004. After the arrival of MS Dhoni, Karthik had to take a backseat. However, he performed well with the bat as well as behind the wickets whenever he got an opportunity. The last time he played for India was in the 2019 World Cup in England.
However, Karthik has been in terrific form in the ongoing IPL while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In five out of six matches, the right-handed batter has remained not-out and finished the matches with a strike rate of 209. 57, which is the biggest plus point in his batting.
Recently, the veteran player has played an eye-pleasing unbeaten knock of 66 runs off 34 balls, which included five fours and five maximums against Delhi Capitals. With India still in search of a finisher, Karthik has made a solid impression ahead of the global T20 competition.
