IPL 2022: 5 players who might go unsold in the mega auction
The mega auctions will take place next year.
5. Kedar Jadhav
Once MS Dhoni’s trusted player in finishing of games during the 2018-19 edition, Kedar Jadhav has hardly looked in form for SRH this year. The writing was on the wall when nobody apart from SRH was willing to buy him during this year’s auction. His base price of INR 2 crores also went against him. Still, SRH trusted him and gave him a chance to bat at lower down the order.
But, Jadhav’s lack of scoring runs briskly and his poor fielding didn’t help SRH win games. During the six games that the all-rounder got to play, he only scored 55 runs. His strike rate was also only 105.76 and six-hitting prowess has waned, and also, his part-time off-spin bowling has not been effective.
