IPL 2022: 5 teams that might eye Ravi Shastri for head coach role
Many IPL teams require a coach and there is no doubt that Ravi Shastri will be the hot pick among the contenders.
2. Lucknow
The second team to make a debut in the 15th edition of IPL is Lucknow, which was bought by RPSG groups for a whopping amount of 7090 crores. The management already has experience of owning the dissolved Rising Pune Supergiants team.
The RPS management had Stephen Fleming as their head coach in the two seasons they appeared. But now, the chances of Fleming to coach a team other than CSK is very minute. Hence, the management would lookout for an experienced and well-proven candidate.
The management will be keen to build a high-quality team culture from the beginning. And so, Ravi Shastri could be the apt person to build the team with strong core players who would be in the team for the next few seasons.
