The English batter Dawid Malan is a sensational cricketer and not long ago, he was ICC’s number one ranked batter in T20Is as well. He also achieved the highest rating ever. He participated in the auction for a base price of INR 1.5 crore. Unfortunately, he went unsold.

This 34-year-old batter is an excellent top or middle-order option. He represented the Punjab Kings in 2021 but got just a single match to play in which he hit a run-a-ball 26. However, he withdrew from the second phase of IPL at UAE which was played just before the T20 World Cup.

Malan also played some crucial knocks for the English team in the T20 World Cup. Even though his record is decent in the Indian subcontinent, the southpaw couldn’t attracted any bids. Nevertheless, it isn’t over yet for Malan, as he will be one of the most sought-after players if the teams need replacements.
