IPL 2022: Best XI from the sixth week
Only 19 league-stage games are left in the tournament and the top four are yet to be decided.
10. Mukesh Chaudhary (CSK)
The 25-year-old left-arm pacer from Maharashtra has emerged as a great bowling asset for CSK this season. His inclusion in the team came late in the tournament but has worked out for CSK. Mukesh’s performance especially against SRH was one of his personal best.
He took four wickets including the dangerman, Abhishek Sharma’s wicket in his spell of four overs. Mukesh gave 46 runs at an economy of 11.5 in that match and was considerably expensive. But he chipped in with wickets at regular intervals and brought the game home.
Mukesh went wicketless in the match against RCB. He could not even complete his four overs. In his spell of three overs in that match, he gave 30 runs at an economy of 10.
