Shikhar Dhawan has been a consistent performer in IPL over the years. However, things do not seem to be clicking for him so far in IPL 2022. The Punjab Kings batter managed to score just 17 runs in two innings in week four. The left-handed batter was dismissed for nine runs against Delhi Capitals, and could score just eight runs against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Dhawan has managed to score just one half-century so far, and he has often lost his wicket after the powerplay overs. The Indian batter looked undecisive out in the middle last week, and will look to make up for his poor performances in the upcoming games.

Punjab Kings have now lost two consecutive games, much of it can be pinned down to the slow starts provided by the batters. However, Shikhar Dhawan is someone who always delivers when his back is pushed against the wall, and this time it could be no different.
