The two new teams of IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on each other in the fourth game of the season and it will be one of the most anticipated ones with a lot of entertainment expected. KL Rahul was drafted in by the Lucknow franchise ahead of the mega auction alongside Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi, and Rahul will be leading the side as well. Gujarat managed to gain the services of Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, while their other picks were Shubman Gill and Rashid Khan.

This will be a new test for Pandya who has not captained in the past, while Rahul has led the Punjab franchise for the last two years and has made his international captaincy debut as well. Interestingly, the Pandya brothers will be opponents in this edition and it will be one of the battles to watch out for in the upcoming fixture.

Coming to the team combination, both teams are set to miss a few players due to international commitments. Quinton de Kock,  Stoinis, and Jason Holder are all set to arrive late for the franchise, while Mark Wood has been ruled out of the tournament due to an injury. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans will be affected by the late entry of Matthew Wade and David Miller, who are expected to play a big role in the batting line-up. Meanwhile, Jason Roy pulling out of the tournament due to bio-bubble fatigue is a massive loss for Gujarat as well.

Here’s a look at how the weather will behave during the GT vs LSG clash:

Luckily, the rain is unlikely to interrupt the fixture between Gujarat and Lucknow at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. According to Accuweather.com, the temperature in Mumbai will be 31 degrees Celsius in the day and will drop to 27 degrees Celsius at night time. The humidity will be around 67 percent and the precipitation percentage is relatively low. Dew is likely to come in the 2nd half of the game.
