These are the players with the most expensive price tags in this year's Mega Auction
9. Avesh Khan for Lucknow Super Giants (INR 10 cr)
Avesh Khan’s tournament started a little slower than expected. Lucknow Super Giants invested INR 10 crores in the seamer based on his performance in the last IPL where he picked up 24 wickets in 16 matches on an average economy of a little over 7. Avesh made his debut with RCB in 2017.
This season he has 11 wickets to his name in only eight matches. Avesh has been hit for a lot of runs this season. His best figures are 4/24 and he is bowling at an average economy of 8.32. Khan’s bid of 10 cr made him the most expensive uncapped player in the history of IPL.
Avesh finished as Delhi Capitals‘ highest wicket-taker in IPL 2021 and the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 24 wickets. He is one of the major contributors to LSG’s winning form this season. Khan is leading the bowling lineup of LSG alongside Dusmantha Chameera.
