However, Lucknow will get a chance to host the Women’s T20 Challenge which will be played from May 24 to May 28.
“As far as the men’s IPL knock-out stage matches are concerned, it would be held in Kolkata and Ahmedabad, with hundred percent attendance allowed for the matches to be played after the league staged finishes on May 22,” said BCCI President Sourav Ganguly as quoted as saying by India TV. “The Women’s Challenger series will be held between May 24-28 at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium,” he added.

Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 24 and 25 while Qualifier 2 and the final will be played in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on May 27 and 29 respectively.
The IPL 2022 became a 10-team affair with the participation of two new franchises Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans which not only stretched the tournament to over two months but also increased the total number of matches to 74 – 70 league matches and four knockouts.
The league phase of the 15th edition of the marquee tournament is currently being played at Wankhede, Brabourne, DY Patil Sports Academy, and the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium respectively. A reduction in COVID-19 cases has played a huge role in welcoming the cricket fans back to the stadiums.
