5) Gujarat Titans

It is a bit harsh to place Gujarat Titans in the fifth spot after they claimed two wins out of two from their opening matches. The new franchise certainly has one of the best bowling attacks in the competition with the likes of Mohammed Shami and Lockie Ferguson in the ranks. Skipper Hardik Pandya has been taking up more responsibilities and has bowled his full quota of four overs in both matches. ICC T20 Player of the last Decade, Rashid Khan is always there to capitalize on the base set up by the fast bowlers.

However, their batting department still has a lot of question marks. The likes of Shubman Gill, Matthew Wade, Hardik Pandya, and David Miller have all chipped in with runs in the first two matches, but whether they can do it for 14-matches running is yet to be seen. Another weak link in the Gujarat Titans’ side is their number three conundrum. At the moment, they have been experimenting with Vijay Shankar, but they might need to change their strategy going forward.
