2. Mumbai Indians- Mahela Jayawardene, Shane Bond, Robin Singh
The five-time champions, Mumbai Indians (MI) have been terrific with their performances over the last 10 years. Among the three main coaches of the team, Robin Singh has been in-charge of the batting department since the 2009 edition. The former Indian cricketer featured in 136 ODIs and a single test fixture from 1989 to 2001. In the past, he has served as the fielding coach of the Indian cricket team as well.
The Kiwi fast-bowler, Shane Bond has been serving as the bowling coach of the MI team since the 2015 edition. In the past, he served as the head coach of the Sydney Thunder team in the Big Bash League. Shane featured in 18 Tests, 82 ODIs, and 20 T20Is from 2001 to 2010.
The head coach of the MI team since 2017, Mahela Jayawardene played for Sri Lanka from 1997 to 2015 in 149 Tests, 448 ODIs, and 55 T20Is. Apart from three titles for MI in 2017, 2019, and 2020, he played a key role to guide the Southern Brave team to win the inaugural edition of the Hundred in 2021.
