Sadly for RCB, their three retained players have been floundering. Starting with Virat Kohli, the cricketer has been very fragile in IPL 2022. So far from his 13 appearances, King Kohli has scored 236 runs at an average of 19.67. Also for the first time, this run-machine has endured three first-ball ducks.

Perhaps alongside him, even Mohammed Siraj has been woeful. At present, his wickets tally looks very diminished with just 8 wickets in 13 matches. Even with regards to his economy, the ace pacer has leaked at a rate of almost 10.

However, Glenn Maxwell’s show in particular has been quite moderate. Compared to his IPL 2021 performances, the Aussie is yet to discover his mojo. Currently, Maxwell has scored 228 runs at a reasonable average of 25.33. Only his strike rate of 166.42 has been the positive aspect of his batting. Overall for RCB, it’s their two new veterans (Faf & DK) have been the prominent match-winners with the bat. Otherwise, the red-army could have experienced another appalling season.
