While Chennai lost the only match they played earlier this week, the team has got enough rest to go in with more preparations for the next game. The clash between the PBKS and CSK was a high-scoring thriller that pumped the fans around at the Wankhede Stadium.

Chennai’s bowling was not impactful enough to restrict Punjab below 170. Liam Livingstone and Bhanuka’s little cameos at the death surely made the difference. Chennai Super Kings have been missing their star bowler Deepak Chahar, Mukesh Choudhary bowled good outswingers in the previous games, but against Punjab, he went wicketless.

In this season, Ambati Rayudu seems to be consistent and quick at the same time. He smashed 78 off 39 balls with a strike rate of 200, taking his side closer to the finishing line. Unlike other times, MS Dhoni was unable to finish it off this time as he got out on the 3rd ball of the last over. CSK is placed at the ninth position with only two wins so far.
