10. SRH- Umran Malik
Last year at the fag end of IPL 2021, Umran Malik made his IPL debut. The speedster with his express pace almost surprised everyone in the competition. His revelation also then demanded retention for the IPL 2022 season. And perhaps now in the ongoing IPL, the youngster has been the biggest talking point.
Statistically, the 22-year old has thunderously scalped 21 wickets from his 13 IPL 2022 games. The cricketer in his overall wicket tally has also bagged a four-wicket haul and a fifer. Barring all of this, Umran is also the official fastest pacer of the ongoing IPL season. Additionally, bowling without a new ball and at difficult passages of play is conclusively enhancing Umran’s bowling skillsets.
Overall, certainly under the mentorship of Dale Steyn, this lad will become the chief spearhead of Hyderabad. Surely the orange army will also transform Umran much like how Bhuvi has been revolutionized in the past.
