4. Glenn Maxwell
Popularly known as the “Big Show”, Glenn Maxwell is one of the most unconventional and destructive batsmen in limited overs cricket. He was the costliest player in 2013 IPL auctions as he was bought by the Mumbai Indians team for 1 million USD. Despite having paid a hefty sum for the Australian, Glenn Maxwell was under-used by the Mumbai team and mostly spent his time warming the bench throughout the tournament in a star-studded Mumbai team.
He was released next year by the franchise and was picked by the Kings XI Punjab in 2014. He scored 552 runs with 7 fifties and three 90+ scores that year as Kings XI Punjab finished as the runners-up in 2014. Since then he has played some memorable innings in the IPL and has also established himself as a key member of the Australian team.
