IPL: 5 Players who once played for Mumbai Indians
#2) Andre Nel
Andre Nel, the tall, fiery fast bowler who was brought in by the Mumbai Indians in the first season of the Indian Premier League in 2008, has played only a single game for the team. Nel was picked up as a replacement for West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo but came back for national duty.
The bowler who has been a part of several controversies in international cricket gave away 31 runs from his 4 overs taking 1 wicket in the only match he played for the franchise. Though his performance was not a bad one the bowler did not participate in the rest of the tournament.
The South African spearhead has 123 and 106 wickets in Tests and ODI’s respectively but has now retired from the international scene opting to play county cricket for Surrey.
