IPL: 5 Players who were part of RCB you never know
A few legendary names in the list.
Darren Sammy
The team is to blame for never being able to find a dependable all-rounder after the departure of legendary Jacques Kallis. Most of the time, a potent all-rounder has been present in their squad, but the team has even failed to recognize him, and West Indian Darren Sammy is the prime example for the same.
Before joining the squad in 2015, Sammy had been a part of the SRH and even captained the team for a few games. With RCB, he was dropped only after two failures, and never got a chance again. Agreed that the explosive all-rounder could score only 13 runs in 2 games, but dropping him before giving him a fair chance was unfair.
Therefore, his presence went unnoticed that season. RCB reached the Qualifier 2 in a rather good season, but Sammy’s presence could have helped the team go a step further.
