Kolkata Knight Riders cruised to their 3rd win of the season as they defeated the Kings XI Punjab by 6 wickets at the PCA Stadium, Mohali. After being put into bat, KXIP managed to put on only 138/6 in their 20 overs. Shaun Marsh top scored with an unbeaten 56 while Vijay scored 26.
