Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered an easy 22 runs victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to cruise into the play-off of the IPL 9. KKR batting first posted a challenging 171/6 in 20 overs riding on a brilliant knock from Manish Pandey (48 from 30 balls) and Yusuf Pathan (52 from 34 balls). Chasing 172 runs to win, the SRH side could only manage 149/8 in 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan (51 from 30 balls) was the sole performer with the bat after their batting mainstay David Warner failed with the bat today. The spin heavy KKR bowling attack led by Sunil Narine (3/26) and chinaman Kuldeep Yadav (2/28) enjoyed bowling on the slow, turning wicket and had a complete upper hand over the opposition.

0 – SRH has never won a game against KKR at Eden Gardens. They have lost all their four matches thus far.
