IPL Auction 2017: All you need to know

The auction for IPL 2017 is all set to take place in Bengaluru tomorrow with a total of 352 players to go under the hammer. Ishank Jaggi today became the latest entrant in this year’s players auction. The final list of players was made from the 799 players who had registered their names for the IPL auction. As many as 6 members from the final list are from associate nations with 5 from Afghanistan and a solitary member from UAE.

Indian speedster Ishant Sharma is the only Indian player to be placed in the highest base price bracket of Rs. 2 crores. Earlier today Aussie left-arm speedster Mitchell Starc made himself unavailable for the upcoming IPL thus allowing RCB to go with an additional foreign player in the auction tomorrow.

Venue, TV Channel and Timings

The live broadcast of the IPL auction will start at 9:00 am and will be telecasted on Sony Six and Sony Six HD. The auction will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Bengaluru.
