The 5th match in this IPL 2021 season will start at 7:30 PM IST between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in Chennai. In this article let us discuss the Season Long Fantasy League team setup for Match 5.
While there have been some good batting performances at Chepauk, it was not too easy to bat for many batsmen. We currently have five players for today’s match in our fantasy team. KKR plays their next match in five days and MI plays their next match in four days. So we will make just one transfer along with the free uncapped transfer.
Players available for the Current Match: Ishan Kishan (MI), Shubman Gill (MI), Andre Russel (KKR), Krunal Pandya (MI), Varun Chakravarthy (KKR)
Number of Transfers: One (+ One uncapped)

Transfer Out: Ben Stokes (RR), Mayank Agarwal (PBKS)
Mayank Agarwal (PBKS): Punjab plays their next match in four days. So we transferred him out.
Ben Stokes (RR): Ben Stokes is the expensive player(10.5 fantasy credits) in our fantasy team and we will not be able to carry him to the next RR match.

Transfer In:
Suryakumar Yadav (MI): Suryakumar Yadav was playing well but dismissed cheaply last time. He is available at 9.5 Credits and having him will help in getting high-value players for the next match RCB vs SRH.
Uncapped Transfer In:
Nitish Rana (KKR): We transferred out Nitish Rana in the previous match so that we can get him back in this match as a free uncapped substitution.
Here’s our Fantasy team:
Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson, Manish Pandey, Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Suryakumar Yadav (VC), Krunal Pandya, Andre Russell (C), Chetan Sakariya, Varun Chakravarthy, T Natarajan
Captain: Andre Russel (KKR)
Andre Russel bowled well in the last match. We picked him as captain due to his all-round abilities despite his poor batting since last season in IPL.
Vice Captain: Suryakumar Yadav(MI)
Note: In the last match, Kartik Tyagi did not play. So, in our fantasy team, we replaced Kartik Tyagi (RR) with like-for-like replacement Chetan Sakariya (RR).
