Irfan pulls Yusuf Pathan's leg on the latter's anniversary post for his wife

Yusuf Pathan comes across as a shy person who doesn’t open up about himself very often in public space. While the hard-hitting batsman could destroy any bowling attack with his sheer power, his personality is completely contrasting. The Baroda star loves to keep his emotions under check and always sports a friendly smile on his face. Perhaps this is the reason it took him almost six years to post a picture of himself with his wife Afreen on social media.

Yusuf and Afreen had tied the knot in March 2013. Their love story is nothing less than a typical Bollywood script. Around 2011, the cricketer was looking for a physiotherapist when he was introduced to Afreen who was practising in Baroda. Yusuf was immediately smitten by Afreen and the love story took off. It eventually culminated in a beautiful wedding. They are now proud parents of two children.

Coming to Yusuf’s latest gesture to show his love for his beloved wife, he took to Instagram to post a picture. And this is when his younger brother and India all-rounder Irfan Pathan decided to make his presence felt. At first, Irfan wished the couple before pulling his elder brother’s leg.

“Happy anniversary my love,” wrote Yusuf while wishing his wife.

In reply, Irfan wrote:

“Bhabhi maa ke samaan hoti hay and Afreen Bhabhi is the living example of that.”

The allrounder then showed the mischievous nature of his personality as he pulled Yusuf’s legs by writing:

“by the way nice tshirt lala”

Yusuf is still playing in the IPL and is a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. The right-hander, who once held the record for fastest ton in IPL, managed to score just 260 runs last season. SRH will again want the big guy to fire in the middle and lower order to take them over the line.
