Meanwhile, there was a report disclosed by the Pakistani government that so far there have been only five cases of Coronavirus across the country. It was a surprising fact as many countries have been severely hit with that virus. Now, Zafar Mirza, who is also the Director of Health System Development in the World Health Organization opened up saying that Pakistan is not hiding the actual number of cases hit with the disease.

He also added that every case of cough and flu cannot be neglected. Moreover, he thanked Pakistan for taking preventive measures due to which the country is least affected by the disease that has taken the lives of thousands of human beings across the globe.

“The reports of the government hiding the total number of confirmed cases of the virus in Pakistan are 100 per cent false. The government has also initiated a strategy to tackle the possible spread of dengue in Pakistan. Every little case of the common cough or flu should not be mistaken for the coronavirus.

“If people get alarmed and concerned at every little illness, there will soon be a panic in the country. Pakistan has thankfully managed to contain the pandemic to some extent because of the preventive measures put in place by the government. This is why we managed to contain the spread compared to other world nations,” Zafar Mirza said as quoted by Geo News.
