The Women’s Ashes 2019 is currently underway with Australia and England fighting it out in the one-off Test at Taunton. At lunch on the second day, the Aussies, led by Meg Lanning, had notched 341 runs in 132 overs and seemed to hold the upper hand. After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Alyssa Healy and skipper Lanning set the tone with knocks of 58 and 57 respectively.

Rachael Haynes turned up with 87 as well, but it was Ellyse Perry’s knock of 116 off 281 deliveries that has put Australia in the strong position. Meanwhile, the commentators are busy, bringing the live coverage of the contest. Even as two of them were weaving their magic with words, Isa Guha was taking a breather in the background. While chilling out, she was caught on camera at a time she wouldn’t have wanted.

Inside the studios, the atmosphere must be on the hotter side. Guha had to pull out the deodorant and in the break, she decided to refresh a bit and sprayed it over. However, she didn’t realize that they were showing the commentary box on TV right at that time, as soon as she figured that the former cricketer moved away. Guha, who’s also a former England women’s cricketer, was seemingly embarrassed by the incident.

Here is the video of Isa Guha’s reaction time:

Isa Guha’s international career

The Buckinghamshire-born Guha made her debut in an ODI versus Scotland Women at Reading way back in 2001. A year later, she forayed into Test cricket against India Women in Taunton. Four years later, Guha made his T20I debut against New Zealand Women at Hove. Thereafter, she plied her trade in eight Tests, 83 ODIs and 22 T20Is in which she picked up 29, 101 and 18 wickets respectively.

Her last appearance in national colours was in a T20I against South Africa Women in October 2011. In her career, she finished with four four-wicket hauls and three five-wicket hauls. She was a part of the English squad that won the World Cup and the World T20 in 2009.

On March 9, 2012, Guha announced her international retirement, the same day when Rahul Dravid walked off from international cricket. She was recently a part of the commentary panel in the recently concluded 2019 World Cup in England and Wales as well.
