Veteran Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been spending a leisure time at home after returning from the Sri Lankan tour. However, on Wednesday (August 11), the star cricketer got trolled by none other than his wife Nupur Nagar over a Mehendi design. Bhuvneshwar may be one of the finest swing bowlers going around and the many prominent batters would also accept the same. However, when it comes to applying Mehendi, the pacer still has a way to go.

Taking to her Instagram story, Nupur posted a collage of two pictures. While the snap in the upper half showed the Mehendi design made by her, she posted Bhuvneshwar’s art in the lower half. Comparing the two designs, Nupur hilariously said his husband’s creation seems like coronavirus’ biological structure. “It looks like corona,” Nupur Nagar wrote on her story while tagging the star cricketer.

The picture went in viral in no time with netizens joining in the fun. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar is yet to react to his wife’s antics, one can expect him to come up with a witty response. After all, he’s known for his cheeky sense of humour.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was impressive in the Sri Lanka tour

Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar was Team India’s vice-captain in the Sri Lanka tour and he enjoyed an impressive run. He took three wickets in two ODIs as the Men in Blue walked away with a 2-1 win in the 50-over leg. Bhuvneshwar also started the T20I series on a grand note, registering a match-winning four-wicket haul. He bowled economical spells in the next two games as well despite India having a further depleted team.

Although the visitors lost the T20I series 2-1, Bhuvneshwar must be pleased with his performance. Many fans and experts even believe that the 31-year-old has sealed his place in India’s squad for the T20 World Cup which will be played in October-November in UAE and Oman.

Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar is currently gearing up for the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 where he’ll represent Sunrisers Hyderabad. The fast bowler indeed has some work to do as the Orange Army didn’t enjoy a fruitful run in the initial half of the season. They, in fact, were reeling at the last place in the team standings, having lost seven of their first eight games.
