Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper turned 31 on November 5th and the wishes started flowing from every nook and corner across the globe. The cricketing fraternity went busy in wishing the Delhiite on his special day. Also, the former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh didn’t look behind in order to wish Indian captain and shared a tweet on social media recalling the past memories they spent together through a picture.
The top-order batsman has taken a short break from cricket and is not part of India‘s ongoing T20I series against Bangladesh. He will mark his comeback against the same team in the two-match Test series starting on the 14th of November. He is currently spending his time with his better half and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in Bhutan. The couple also shared a couple of pictures for their fans doing trekking in the mountains and spending time with the local residents.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh, who bid farewell from all forms of cricket earlier this year in June, took to his Twitter handle and shared a picture of him alongside Virat Kohli. It is pretty evident from the pictures that both the cricketers had enjoyed each other’s company a lot, and also gave a caption to it, “Yeh bhi din they ! Aur ek aaj ka din hai ! On the occasion of 31st birthday, Virat also shared an emotional note to 15-year-old self on Twitter and wrote, “My journey and life’s lessons explained to a 15-year old me. Well, I tried my best writing this down. Do give it a read. #NoteToSelf.”

The Punjab-born all-rounder has been more vocal about his fallout from the team post his retirement. He also expressed his disappointment for giving extra preference to the yo-yo test. He also lashed out at the current Indian selectors and feels there should be new and better selection panel.
