India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been hogging all the limelight for over a month now. There were various speculations regarding the seamer entering a new phase in his life by tying the nuptial knot with TV presenter Sanjana Ganesan. The couple managed to keep the entire ceremony including their venue in Goa under the wraps.

Meanwhile, Bumrah decided to put a rest to all the speculations and rumors as on Monday, March 15 as he and Sanjana took to their official social media handles to pen down a heartfelt note to announce their weddings among their fans and followers.

“Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you,” wrote Jasprit Bumrah while sharing a few adorable and beautiful pictures from the wedding.

The post sent social media in a frenzy as the newly-married couple received a lot of good wishes and love from all over the world. Bumrah’s teammates Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shikhar Dhawan, and Mayank Aggarwal were among the first ones to congratulate Bumrah and Sanjana for entering the new phase of their lives.

Ever since the Indian pacer has announced his marriage with Sanjana, a lot of videos from the couple’s wedding and other ceremonies have surfaced on social media. One of the most viral videos from their intimate wedding ceremony is the one where Jasprit Bumrah can be seen shaking a leg with his better-half on a romantic number in their sangeet ceremony in Goa.

Jasprit Bumrah likely to return in action during IPL 2021

Jasprit was last seen donning the Indian colors during the third Test of the four-match series against England. Since then, the pacer has been away from the match field as he had asked for a break from the fourth Test of the marquee series followed by a break in the five-match T20I and three-match ODI series against the same opponents.

The pace sensation is most likely to return back to action for Mumbai Indians (MI) during the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), starting from April 9 in India.
