Jos Buttler reveals the reason behind his naked celebration

The tenth edition of Indian Premier League ended (IPL) with a enthralling encounter between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant. It was a gut-wrenching final as Mumbai pulled off a dramatic win to secure their third IPL title. Opting to bat first. Rohit Sharma & Co. could manage to score only 129 runs. But it is their bowling unit that changed the course of the match for Mumbai’s favour.
With just 7 needed from 5 deliveries and Pune’s skipper, Steve Smith was still at the crease alongside Manoj Tiwary, the game looked all but over for the Indians. But Mitchell Johnson reminded us of the vintage Australian left-arm speedster who was a terror for any batsman. The Mumbai Indians fans went crazy after their team’s ecstatic victory in the Maharashtra derby.
English wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler was sitting in front of his TV set. The vital cog of Mumbai was missing the game as he was called back by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for ICC Champions Trophy preparations. But the demolishing opener could hardly stay away from the TV as he was seen enjoying every bit of the exciting game.
Naked celebration and the reason behind it
Buttler uploaded his video on Instagram. In the video, he is seen watching the match as Johnson ran in to bowl the last ball of IPL 10. After the win, Buttler’s happiness knew no bounds as he started jumping up and down. Meanwhile, he could not notice that the towel he was wearing was not covering him anymore. Buttler has revealed the reason behind this madness.
Speaking to www.ecb.co.uk, he said that he went to take a shower as he thought there is no hope left for his team to win the match. But he was shocked after he came out as Mumbai was still very much in the game. Getting nervous, he decided to sit in front of the TV and do not go anywhere again.
He also did not put his pants on. He further revealed that he has played a few finals – 7 to be precise but has not won any. Hence he was disappointed after watching Mumbai’s batting and thought that Pune will win it comfortably. But he praised the bowlers and said that Mumbai have a great set of death over bowlers.
He revealed that he was too nervous and after the last ball, was extremely delighted. Hence, he forgot he was naked and began to jump with joy.
