Karan Johar is a relieved man after the suspensions on Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul are lifted
Furthermore, he also passed a statement where he said that the show isn't for people who watch it with a serious agenda.
It came as a huge sigh of relief for Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul as the BCCI’s CoA decided to lift their suspensions with immediate effect. However, this is only till the Supreme Court appoints the Ombudsman who will inquire and investigate into the matter. Nevertheless, the host of the show Koffee with Karan, Karan Johar was extremely happy with the decision that was taken.
The Bollywood director and producer said that these cricketers deserve a second chance. He further added that he was grateful and relieved and mentioned that he was glad that the board gave the duo another chance. It was at Karan Johar’s talk show where Hardik and Rahul made loose-tongued misogynistic comments for which they paid the hefty price.
My show is not for people with a serious agenda
“I am so happy to hear that, I am relieved and grateful for the BCCI to lift the ban. They deserved another chance and I am glad the Board has given them this chance,” saying Karan Johar in an interview with CNN News 18.
Karan did accept that there were a few flaws in the show but said that they were to be looked at in a lighter way. When asked if he felt awkward with the comments Hardik and KL made, Karan said that he has got quite a few tasks apart from the usual banters. Hence, he noted that it gets difficult for him to manage so many things at times. Furthermore, he also passed a statement where he said that the show isn’t for people who watch it with a serious agenda.
“When you’re hosting a show there are so many things that you’re doing. Very often I’ve watched a show of mine much later and said, what was I thinking when I said that, what was going through my mind,” he further added.
