Kerala Police pips New Zealand Police in trolling the Black Caps for ODI series defeat

Team India registered a resounding win against a hapless New Zealand side in the recently concluded ODI series. A 4-1 drubbing saw the hosts meekly surrender on most occasions, barring the fourth ODI, when the Indian team fumbled big time. After the series defeat, the Kiwis certainly faced some trolls from their own backyard.

The Eastern District Police was quick to take the defeat very sportingly. When the series scoreline was 2-0 in India’s favour, they had decided to troll their countrymen for having lost the first two matches of the series. They shared a picture of the Indian team, and called them as ‘assaulters’ who have been assaulting the bunch of New Zealanders in Napier and Mount Maunganui.

“Police would like to issue a warning to members of the public about the exploits of a group touring the country at the moment. Witnesses report seeing this group badly assault an innocent looking bunch of New Zealanders in both Napier and Mt Maunganui in the last week. Extra care should be taken if you are carrying anything that looks like a cricket bat or ball,” the Eastern District Police had funnily posted.

Little did the New Zealand police know that there was more embarrassment coming their way from the same ‘assaulters’. India went on to win the series. And now, the Kerala Police has taken a sly dig at the Kiwi police by noting that the Indian team would inflict the same assault on the Black Caps in the T20Is as well. They came up with a meme and exclaimed that the ‘group of Indians’ love to have the Kiwi juice.

The fans are absolutely loving this little ‘Police encounter’ and it would be interesting to see what the Kiwis have to respond now.

“It is heard that a group of Indians assaulted innocent New Zealanders….. We found that it was a group of men in blue who like Kiwi Juice. They had the cup at Maunganui and is ready for crushing the Kiwis at Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton,” Kerala Police responded with a meme.
