KL Rahul gets a new tattoo after ODI series victory
KL Rahul shared pictures of him getting inked recently.
Indian cricketer KL Rahul is well known for his love for body art. He recently got inked once again, and this time it’s for his best friend. The Indian Test opener’s best friend is none other than his dog Simba. Simba is a ‘Chow Chow’ breed dog, and he often makes it to KL Rahul’s social media profiles. Interestingly, Simba has got his own Instagram account, and he is followed by many. Rahul got Simba inked on his back and posted a picture on Twitter with a caption “Guess who’s got my back folks?? My #lionking ”.

Skipper Virat Kohli too is fond of Rahul’s pet. Simba has met most of the Indian cricketers and it won’t be surprising if we get to see him around the park soon.
Gavaskar critical of Rahul
Recently, legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar took an indirect potshot at Rahul. “It looks like all the nice guys are being left out and they should start getting a different hair style and some body art done too to get picked in the team,” Gavaskar wrote in a column for a leading daily. Ajinkya Rahane, who was the highest run-getter during the series against West Indies, didn’t find a place in the squad, and that has certainly miffed Gavaskar.
He also wrote in his column, “India had made changes on the expected lines with the unassuming trio of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Kedar Jadhav and Yazuvendra Chahal being left out of the side. Rahul got yet another chance while the top scorer of the just-concluded One-day series in the West Indies -Ajinkya Rahane -sat out once again. After the magnificent partnership between Rohit Sharma and skipper Kohli had been broken, it was expected that Rahul would come in to bat. He would have had time to settle down and get his eye in. Instead, it was Hardik Pandya who was sent in earlier.” Gavaskar also said that he has no problem with a player being given a chance but it should never happen at the cost of an in-form player.
