Australia allrounder Mitchell Marsh was been ruled out of the remainder of the IPL 2016 season with a side strain, adding to a Rising Pune Supergiants list of injuries that already included Kevin Pietersen and Faf du Plessis. Marsh played only three of Supergiants’ first seven games this season, taking four wickets at an economy rate of 5.00. He batted once and made 7. Supergiants won only two of those seven games and were in the bottom half of the points table when Marsh was ruled out.
