Ricky Ponting was not the only one to score a World Cup century in 2007, but Matthew Hayden who scored the most runs in 2007 World Cup hit 2 centuries in 2 matches. He scored 101 against South Africa in Basseterre and 158 against West Indies in North Sound. Hayden scored more than 600 runs in the tournament and was the major reason behind Australia dominating the World Cup scene from 2003-2007.
