Bangladesh Women will lock horns with Pakistan Women in the 3rd match of the U19 Women’s Tri-Series at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar on January 27. Bangladesh Women have already played a game in the series which they were able to win while the match for Pakistan Women had to be cancelled.
Bangladesh Women squared off against Sri Lanka Women in their last game which was played at the same venue where Bangladesh Women had won the toss and elected to bowl. Sri Lanka started very slowly and were looking rusty on the ground. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals due to which they could not increase their scoring rate. Only three of their batters had a score in double digits and by the end of the innings, they could only post a total of 95 runs at the loss of nine wickets. Bangladesh Women started in a much more aggressive manner and kept rotating the strike. They lost a couple of wickets in the process but were able to reach the target easily and won the game by five wickets with nine balls to spare.
Pakistan Women had to play against Sri Lanka Women in their last game which was supposed to be scheduled at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar. However, the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
