Tribhuvan Army Club will lock horns with Gandaki Province in the 15th match of the Nepal PM Cup OD at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on February 1. Tribhuvan Army Club has dominated the proceedings so far with three wins from three games and is ranked second currently while Gandaki Province has won and lost a game each so far being placed at the sixth place.
Tribhuvan Army Club squared off against Sudur Paschim Province in their last match, where Tribhuvan Army Club won the toss and elected to bat. They started decently although losing a couple of wickets early and by the end of 10 overs, they had already lost four batters. Their reliable lower middle order took responsibility and took the team to a fantastic total of 262. Paschim too could have started better but kept losing wickets regularly. Kiran Thagunna, in the middle order, did play a fine knock but was not well supported and as a result they lost the game by 97 runs.
Gandaki Province had played against Madhesh Province in their last match, where Madhesh Province won the toss and elected to bat. They made the most of having won the toss after losing the first wicket early as Anil Kumar Sah struck a sensational century. He was well aided by other batters around him which took the team total to a grand 335 runs. Gandaki started well with the opening stand worth 50 runs. They had several batters who got starts but all of them failed to capitalise on it ahead forward as they were bowled out for just 190 and lost the game by a huge 145 runs.
