Ambati Rayudu is not a new name in the Indian cricket circle. The Hyderabad cricketer has been around for over a decade. Recently, he hit his maiden T20 hundred in the IPL fixture against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Playing for the Chennai Super Kings, Rayudu ensured that his side beat the ‘best bowling side in the competition’. The fans loved his performance and so did his teammates. His CSK teammate, Mark Wood, came up with a lovely jingle for him.
Mark Wood had to leave the IPL 2018 early in order to prepare for the English summer. But the pacer is certainly keeping up with the IPL. He recently took to micro blogging site Twitter to congratulate Ambati Rayudu on his achievement in a very unique way. Wood, along with his teammates in Durham dressing room, sang a lovely little jingle showering praises on Rayudu.
Well, Ambati Rayudu will surely love the video and also acknowledge the warm regards his teammate has sent from England. Commenting on Mark Wood’s IPL debut, the pacer played just one match in the CSK outfit. He, however, admitted that he had a great time in India and loved every bit of his stay in the competition. The Super Kings have qualified for the playoffs in the competition.
The official social media handle of the Chennai Super Kings posted the jingle sung by Mark Wood and his Durham teammates. They captioned the video as, “‘I just can’t get enough!’ Look what #BrotherMark @MAWood33 and his @DurhamCricket mates have done as a tribute to the Baahubali @RayuduAmbati’s super ton! Words fail us seeing so much #yellove! #CSKfamily #whistlepodu.”
