This CrickingDuels Fantasy guide is for the match 55 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season which will be played between Delhi Daredevils (DD) and Mumbai Indians (MI). The defending champions will have to be careful while facing the hosts now. They thumped the title favourites by 34 runs the other night on a slow pitch and would be eager to end the season on a high. However, Mumbai will be backing themselves to go through as they will only need a win after RCB lost recently to the Rajasthan Royals.

The NRR of Mumbai is the best and they only need to make sure that they don’t get beaten. The Feroz Shah Kotla pitch has been on the slower side and the spinners might wreck havoc on Sunday and suddenly the bowling of Delhi looks better. It will be an interesting game with one of the teams have a point to prove and the other team has their title defence at stake. Here we bring to you the CrickingDuels Fantasy guide for the game:

Delhi Daredevils (DD) vs Mumbai Indians (MI):

Batsmen

The fact that the wicket will assist the slower bowlers eliminates the possibility of having Evin Lewis in the team. I have gone for Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma to rake the points for me. The former has been amazingly consistent this season while opening the innings, while the skipper of the team has to step up in the big game undoubtedly. Shreyas Iyer and Prithvi Shaw are the other two batsmen in my line-up. Both have been the stars for their team and no wonder they will be itching to make an impact in the last league game.

All-Rounders

I am going in with Pandya brothers here as the all-rounders. Both make a lasting impact in the match and give their 100 percent in whatever they are doing. Krunal Pandya has found his mojo with the bat and has always been exceptional with his left-arm spin bowling. His fielding also made the difference against Kings XI and even his brother Hardik Pandya has a similar attitude. He is the highest wicket-taker for his team and his batting clicks whenever his team need him the most. With the spinners expected to bowl most of the overs in Delhi, he could be promoted given his six-hitting prowess against them.

Wicketkeeper

Rishabh Pant is a good choice here and again he would also be looking to win the game for one last time this season for Delhi. He looked in classy touch in the previous game but threw his wicket away. Ishan Kishan is also a decent option to go with but the youngster has been inconsistent. Though he can get on a six-hitting spree like he got against KKR a few days ago and can change the game on its head.

Bowlers

I am going with three spinners Amit Mishra, Sandeep Lamichhane and Mayank Markande to earn as many points as I can with the wickets they will pick. Both the bowlers from Delhi are riding high on confidence after delivering fantastic spells in the last game and Markande will surely be effective with his variations. Jasprit Bumrah is the match-winner and can’t miss having him in my team. He has also started picking wickets and surely is key for Mumbai in the death overs.
