'Maybe Virender Sehwag is doing some prank' - Fans react after batting legend reveals his phone number on Twitter
Virender Sehwag tweeted that he had dropped his phone while taking a shower, and he was getting it fixed.
Virender Sehwag is a cricketer who is extremely active on social media. Be it a cricketer’s birthday or a major happening in the world of cricket, Sehwag’s witty posts on social media have entertained the fans, just like his batting skills did during his playing days.
However, the ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ managed to leave his fans bewildered with his latest tweet. Sehwag tweeted that he had dropped his phone while taking a shower, and he was getting it fixed.
That is not all. He even mentioned that people can call him on the number 9112083319. “Dropped my phone in the shower, getting it fixed, call me on 9112083319,” tweeted Sehwag.

And, a number of fans have reacted to this tweet from the legendary Indian batsman. While a fan tried to decipher Sehwag’s tweet by stating that the phone number is made up of Sehwag’s best innings in international cricket, another fan tweeted that maybe Sehwag is playing a prank on people.
Yet another fan even went to the extent of stating that Virender Sehwag is a fraud. Another fan tweeted a meme about how the fans are currently reacting after dialing the number mentioned by Sehwag in his tweet.
Another fan reckons that the number is showing that Sehwag lives in Maharashtra whereas he is actually from Delhi. And finally, another fan asked Sehwag whether his Twitter account was hacked.
Virender Sehwag is one of the legends of Indian cricket. The right-handed batting colossus featured in 104 Tests, 251 ODIs, and 19 T20Is for India. While he scored 8586 runs in Test cricket, Sehwag plundered 8273 runs in the ODI format of the game. He also represented India in 19 T20Is and scored 394 runs at a strike rate of 145.39.
Virender Sehwag played his final international match for India in March 2013. He remains the only Indian batsman to have scored two triple centuries in Test cricket.
