Mohammad Amir expecting to be a father in the near future

Pakistani speedster Mohammad Amir has been enjoying a fruitful time on the 22 yards after making his return to the Pakistan cricket team. The lethal pace bowler seems to be at his peak and has been a nightmare for every batsman he has bowled to. However, Amir is expecting another massive news in the recent future but this time it is off the field.

The 25-year-old left armer is expecting his first child very soon. While becoming a father can rule out the cricketer out of the World XI tour in September, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) already has a replacement ready in the form of a pace bowler. In case you did not know, an ICC World XI is all set to visit Pakistan in the month of September ending the international drought the country has been going through since 2009. The team consists of some heavyweights from the world of cricket with the likes of Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir, David Miller, Grant Elliot, Paul Collingwood, Darren Sammy and a few more.
Mohammad Amir’s performance in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy earlier this year is still fresh in the minds of Pakistani fans. The bowler shattered the mighty Indian batting line up with ease with his inch perfect deliveries leading Pakistan to an emphatic victory. Amir ended the match picking up 3 wickets and was incredibly economical in his spell. His wickets included that of skipper Virat Kohli and ‘hitman’ Rohit Sharma which took out the sting out of the Indian batting.
