Mohammad Amir to support Nida Dar's family financially after she allegedly got cheated for PKR 5 lakh
Mohammad Amir has decided to lend a helping hand to Nida Dar's struggling family.
Pakistan woman cricketer Nida Dar has been allegedly cheated for 5 lakh rupees. According to a Pakistani journalist Shoaib Jatt, a ceremony was organized to honor Nida Dar wherein, a representative cheque of 5 lakh rupees was given to her. However, he has alleged that she did not receive the amount as the organizers left the venue without doing the needful.
He took it to his official Twitter account to inform about the same. He also mentioned the worrying condition of her family. Nida Dar’s father has been suffering from a contagious disease and her brother too has been hospitalized.
“Become Nida’s voice. Alas, the ceremony was called to decorate the national cricketer “Nida Dar”. Nida’s father is undergoing treatment at the hospital due to a contagious disease, while his brother is alone in bed due to an accident. 5 lakhs not found yet,” Shoaib Jatt wrote on Twitter.
After knowing the whole scenario, the former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Amir has decided to help the cricketer and support her family. Replying to Shoaib Jatt’s Tweet he expressed his willingness to provide a helping hand to Nida Dar. “You can send me her details. I will try my best to help her family,” Amir tweeted.
Nida Dar has been exceptional for Pakistan in T20Is
She made her T20I debut against Sri Lanka in the year 2010. She is highly renowned as the lady ‘Boom Boom’ owing to her admiration for Shahid Afridi. When it comes to the T20 format, she has been one of the most successful players for the country. She became the first player from the nation to achieve the feat of clinching 100 T20I wickets. Doing so, she went past the record of her idol Shahid Afridi who has 97 T20I wickets under his sleeves.
In the ODI format, Dar has scalped 73 wickets and is behind legendary Sana Mir and Sadia Yousuf when it comes to most wickets by Pakistani women’s cricketers. She has featured in 108 T20Is and 82 ODIs for Pakistan. She has been the torchbearer for Pakistan’s women’s cricket since the year 2010, bringing in a lot of energy and passion on the 22 yards.
