Mohammed Siraj is one of the fast-improving fast bowlers in India. He recently plied his trade for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and endured a decent season. He was one of the best bowlers for his franchise and justified the price tag attached to him. He has now gifted himself something special with the salary he got through IPL and is enjoying his time ahead of England tour.
Siraj was bagged by the RCB franchise in the mega-auction earlier this year for a whopping amount of Rs 2.6 Crores and he didn’t disappoint them. The youngster played 11 matches in the tournament and picked 11 wickets while being economical in the death overs. He emerged as one of the most successful bowlers for his team and improved after playing every game.
On the back of a good show, Siraj was picked in India A squad for the upcoming England tour where he will three four-day matches against England Lions and Windies in the next month.
What did he gift himself?
Mohammed Siraj has bought a brand new Jeep Compass car which is Red in colour informed the delighting news to his followers on his official Instagram handle. The price of the car will be around Rs 14 Lakhs to Rs 20 Lakhs which means he is making the full use of the money he earned from his IPL contract. The youngster has a long way to go in his career and is being termed as the one to watch out for in the future.
The 24-year-old will be back on the field on July 4 as he will play for India A against Windies A at the Kent County Cricket Ground in Beckenham. It is a two-match series which will conclude on July 13 after which England Lions will pose the challenge to the team led by Karun Nair under the watchful eyes of the coach Rahul Dravid.
