MS Dhoni had switched from PUBG to COD long back? Deepak Chahar's old comments suggest so
The Indian Government banned PUBG and 117 other apps earlier this well.
MS Dhoni’s on-field antics are well known to everyone. But he is even a master at playing battle royale games like PUBG and his love for the same isn’t hidden from his teammates and fans. However, the Indian Government banned 118 apps Chinese apps including PUBG earlier this week citing the security risk they possessed. So how will the former India cricketer cope up with it?
But if his CSK teammate Deepak Chahar is to believed, Dhoni had stopped played playing PUBG well before it was banned by the government. As far as the ban is concerned, the IT ministry issued a press release stating that the apps have been “banned under the section 69A of the Information Technology Act read with the relevant provisions of the Information Technology Rules 2009 and in view of the emergent nature of threats has decided to block 118 mobile apps since in view of the information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the security of the state and public order.”
PUBG was one of the most played games in India and people are certainly concerned about how to pass their free time now. Even MS Dhoni’s fans were concerned about the same. But the man had switched from playing the battle royale game to Call of Duty (COD). Deepak Chahar, in an interaction with CSK on April 6, had revealed that Dhoni wasn’t playing PUBG anymore and had lost his touch when he tried to make a comeback.
“Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni) doesn’t play as much, but I still play. Mahi bhai is playing a different game now. Yeah, sometime back he got back to playing PUBG but had lost touch. He couldn’t figure out who was shooting from where. He clearly was looking out of touch,” he had said.
