MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma among others to attend Virushka’s wedding reception in Mumbai
The invitation card looks stunning just like the bride and the groom.
The second leg of the wedding reception hosted by Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma is set to take place in Mumbai at the prestigious St.Regis hotel on December 26. The couple had earlier got married on December 11 in Tuscany, Italy. After spending their honeymoon in Finland, the couple hosted the first reception at Delhi where honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi graced the event with his presence.
Legendary Punjabi singer Gurudas Mann sang a couple of Punjabi singles at the event which also the likes of Raina, Gambhir and Dhawan being present. The event at St.Regis will contain a much bigger audience which is expected to be attended by The Indian cricket team along with the team management.
What’s on the cards?
According to India Today, The function will take place in the spacious Astor Ballroom of the St. Regis Hotel, which has a capacity of 300 guests and is located on level nine of the hotel. The prodigal venue has 23 foot-high ceilings and crystal chandeliers.
The ballroom has an expansive area of 6,433 square feet and is divided into three sections, a long hallway, pre-function area, the central ballroom and the Astor Terrace. There are floor-to-ceiling windows that separate the ballroom from the Astor terrace, which gives ample sunlight and moonlight.

The invites for both the Delhi and Mumbai receptions were based on pastel floral theme, with silver and gold inserts. The wedding reception will start from 8 pm onwards on Tuesday. Both Virat and Anushka are likely to be dressed in Sabyasachi’s ensembles again.
The Indian team is leaving for South Africa on Wednesday for the much-awaited tour which is set to begin on January 5. Anushka is expected to join Virat on the tour where they would celebrate the second leg of their honeymoon and ring in the new year.
