Earlier, he had hogged the spotlight for his telephone celebration with the shoe. But, on Wednesday, he came out with something new for the fans in order to entertain them. The incident happened in the 8th over of the match when Tabraiz Shamsi bowled a loopy leg spinner to Wihan Lubbe, who came out of his crease in his attempt to clear the boundary ropes. However, the batsman mistimed the ball that went high instead of going for a six and fell into the safe hands of Hardus Viljoen.

After dismissing Lubbe, Shamsi was spotted taking out a piece of cloth that he waved towards the spectators. Moreover, he converted that cloth into a stick that looked like his “magic wand”. It was something that left everyone in awe.

After the match, the South African leg-spinner revealed he loves performing magic tricks. He also said that at the age of 15-16, he wanted to become a magician but picked cricket over it. According to him, spectators come to watch cricket and sometimes it becomes serious. However, it is one of his way to take off the pressure so that he can enjoy the game and give his best as a bowler.

As far as the match is concerned, Durban Heat defeated Paarl Rocks in a high scoring game by six wickets. Alex Hales emerged as the Man of the Match for his swashbuckling knock of unbeaten 97 runs off just 55 balls with nine boundaries and four sixes.
