Back in the month of March, Shakib Al Hasan, the Bangladesh all-rounder, became a father for the third time. The Magura-born took paternity leave from the tour of New Zealand where the Tigers lost all their six matches. In January, Shakib shared a picture where he was seen, planting a kiss on his wife Umme Ahmed Shishir’s baby bump with his eyes closed and affection in his heart.

Shakib’s first child, Alaina, was born in 2015 after which his second daughter Errum came to earth in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak. Shakib and his family named their third child, Eyzah. As his son completed one month, the veteran shared pictures where the names of his spouse and their three children can be seen on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) jerseys.

He captioned the adorable pictures and wrote, “Happy one month to our baby boy Eyzah Al Hasan! You complete our little family; you are a loving brother of two beautiful sisters who are over the moon to have you. And We couldn’t be more blessed buddy! My complete world.”

Shakib Al Hasan gives a different dynamic in KKR: Eoin Morgan

Shakib is currently busy playing for the Knights in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Men in Gold and Purple roped him in at a price of INR 3.2 crores. Eoin Morgan, the Knights’ skipper, earlier said that the 34-year-old adds value to the team.

“Shakib Al Hasan gives us a different dynamic in the team. Given that we play at different venues where the conditions change quite a lot, you have a spin-bowling allrounder who had success in international cricket and IPL at different stages. If called upon, he can definitely deliver,” Morgan was quoted as saying in kkr.in.

Shakib started his sojourn in the ongoing tournament with a wicket in his very first ball. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) Wriddhiman Saha inside-edged one on to his stumps. In two games, Shakib has picked up two wickets and scored 12 runs. The Knights have preferred him in the eleven ahead of West Indies’ Sunil Narine.
