God opens other ten paths if he closes one for you: Irfan Pathan

“Two million and counting. Thank you so much for your love and support. I hope and pray that you keep showering your love on me. On this day, I definitely want to address an issue. Many youngsters try to hurt themselves in recent times. I feel extremely sad after hearing such news.

On this day when I’ve crossed the two million mark, I want to tell people that there comes a time in the life of every successful individual when he feels that there’s no path left ahead of him. Believe me, God opens the other ten paths if he closes one for you. Even if life gives you many setbacks, never ever think of hurting yourself and giving up in life. If you need someone during such times, talk with your family and friend who are close to you. Don’t ever lose the battle against life,” said Irfan in his clip on Instagram.

Irfan, like many other cricketers, had recently paid tribute to MS Dhoni upon his retirement. Social media was flooded with tributes and wishes for the former Indian skipper when he bid adieu to international cricket last week. Irfan also heaped praise on Dhoni for becoming an inspiration to many and for scripting many records through his captaincy. Irfan also lauded Dhoni’s ‘calmness’, which he brought to Indian cricket.

“We spent a lot of time together, from making debut in 2004 with long hair to retiring in 2020 with short hair, he achieved a lot in between. He became an inspiration for many. It was all about aggression before him, but he brought calmness to Indian cricket with his captaincy and was successful in numerous ways. All of his captaincy records are tough to break,” Irfan had told CricTracker.
