The Bangladeshi batting often talks about how the likes of Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Soumya Sarkar would fare up in a game. Very rarely do the critics notice the small yet key contributions made by the other players in the batting order. One of the unsung contributors in the current setup in Liton Das.

In the match against India, Liton Das had scored a timely 30 to keep his side in the competition. In the previous game, when Bangladesh registered a historic run chase riding on Rahim’s heroics, it was Liton Das who had provided a brisk start with a whirlwind 19-ball 43.

3. Vijay Shankar

Indian all-rounder Vijay Shankar has been one of the key players for the side in the series thus far. He has been a big positive for team India. After bowling a very impressive spell against Bangladesh, he backed it up with another decent show in the match against Sri Lanka.

While Vijay has had his chances to show his skills with the ball, his skills with the bat are yet to be seen by the cricket fans. It is worth noting that Vijay Shankar is primarily a batsman who can bowl medium pacers. Hence, if the opportunity arises, expect the Tamil Nadu all-rounder to be a player to watch out for.
