No subcontinent player in Ryan Sidebottom's all-time XI
Former England pacer, Ryan Sidebottom who is widely known as the English county legend has named his all-time XI with players from just three countries – England, Australia, and New Zealand.
The selection was mainly based on the fact that the player should have played with or against the cricketer or influenced him. English Test skipper Alastair Cook and former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming are in the team as the openers and Fleming will lead the team.
Former Australian legend Darren Lehmann will come at number three followed by the current run-machine of England, Joe Root. “He plays the game, how I think the game should be played. There is a smile on his face, enjoy what he is doing,” he said about Root.
David Hussey of Australia makes it to the XI at five, whom he considers as one of the better batsmen in the lower-middle order and a brilliant slip fielder. Mark Ealham snatches the sixth position as an all-rounder and he said that he has learned a lot from him.

Chris Read took the gloves for the side and one of the most successful spinners from England, Graeme Swann is at 8. The bowling department comprises of former English cricketers Darren Gough and Steve Harmison and finished it up with the former New Zealand cricketer Andre Adams.
Cricketers like Angelo Mathews, Kumar Sangakkara, Jason Gillespie, Ian Bell, Eoin Morgan, Jonny Bairstow have also picked their all-time XI over the past few weeks.
