Pakistani sports journalist Mazher Arshad showed his support for India by tweeting in favor of the Indians, asking English presenter Piers Morgan whether Gold Medal winning countries like China and USA produce a brilliant batsman as Sachin.
Can Gold medal winning countries, lets say US and China, produce as brilliant batsman as Sachin? Just wondering… https://t.co/Qh5SOfdmSX

This tweet comes in reply to the tweets which Morgan had made earlier today. Twitter is an unforgiving place and can get you in thick soup over little matters. Same was the case with the BBC sports journalist who suddenly came under social media limelight after his tweets about India’s performance in the Rio Olympics 2016 were taken in a bad taste by the Indians. Consequently, the English presenter was sitting right on the top of the Twitter trends today afternoon.
His tweets drew the attention of the Indians who left no stone unturned in trolling him. One of Morgan’s tweets read: “If India can produce a batsman as brilliant as @sachin rt then it can produce Gold medal-winning Olympians. Needs investment & focus.”
If India can produce a batsman as brilliant as @sachin_rt then it can produce Gold medal winning Olympians. Needs investment & focus.

Morgan did not step back and continued tweeting. It was clearly visible that the Englishman, known for his sarcastic style, was not willing to let the Indians have the last laugh.
Nobody in this photo ever celebrated losing. Fact. @sachin_rt @KP24 @BrianLara #murali pic.twitter.com/REPyQhLpFS

“Dear Indian Twitter, @sachin_rt only follows 77 people & I am one of them. Do the maths. #Winners”
The Indian Twitterati also mocked him relentlessly. Things went to another level when Retired legend Virender Sehwag dived in to give some right sense. Shane Warne also tried to interfere and cool down the matter
